still not sure

Well I am back and still not sure what I am doing, but i am trying. I have never journaled or wrote done things about me or thoughts by me. I think this class will be good for me in dealing with myself and returning to controlling my diabetes. When you do well for so long I guess we can get complacent and sink back into the superman mode and go ........not me. i feel that when we learn more about ourselves the inner ability to maintain our health (homeostasis) becomes very easy.

  1. I think your journal is very insightful. Welcome back, Clark Kent!

  2. I have journalled for over 20 years. The most recent time was when I was in the hospital after being diagnosed with GBS. I have since re-read those entries and can see how not only has my penmanship slowly improved but as I have been able to regain lost abilities, my self esteem has started to rise.
I think you will do well with what we learn in this class. As a nurse I have seen the kind of reaction a diabetic can have to stress. This class I think will not only help you lower your stress but I think it will make you more aware of the effect it is having on your diabetes and you can adjust your medication/food intake accordingly.

  3. Congratulations on taking the first steps on journalling/blogging. I had never blogged until a few months ago and got hooked on Facebook. It is a quick easy way to stay in touch with friends and family (or to get hooked on games) . I like the blog idea for class because we can get to know one another better.
